As an inspiration to hold fast to your dreams, this book will challenge you to make a difference in the lives of those you love. The writer has a self-deprecating sense of humour, and a skill at focusing on just the right things - and despite a bit of repetition (I believe these were originally magazine editorials, hence the constant reminders on the size of the apartment, etc), her writing style was very engaging. Graffin seamlessly weaves between autobiographical anecdotes, evolutionary biology, contemporary philosplophy, and creates a manifesto of his naturalist worldview. The father warns that the waddan is the sacred carrier of the `mountain spirit` and must never be hunted.
